Solar Ku Midzi's Impact at NGO Day

On 16 October 2024, Affordable Solar for Villagers (Solar Ku Midzi), took part in the inspiring NGO Day event at Sanjika Palace in Blantyre. Organized by NGORA, this gathering brought together over 100 organizations, each focused on transformative change for Malawi. Representing our mission to provide affordable, sustainable energy to rural communities, our team—Montfort Kalulu, Hope Chisale, and Racheal Kanyere showcased an exciting lineup of products that aim to make clean energy accessible to everyone. Among our featured products were the Clean Energy Pressure Cooker, Solar Water Pumps, Solar Lights, and the standout Forever Battery with a 10-year lifespan. Our pavilion was buzzing with interest, especially around the Solar Pressure Cooker and Forever Battery, both offering innovative solutions for off-grid, rural areas. The attention culminated in recognition from NGORA. Participating in NGO Day reaffirmed our commitment to empowering rural Malawi with clean energy. With a few enhancements to our setup and logistics, we’re excited to expand our reach in future events and drive lasting change in more communities across the nation.
